Studio Policy

- Our Studio is “By Appointment Only”. Exceptions to this include, but are not limited to, Holiday Events, Community Events & Fundraisers. Due to this, an appointment cannot be made without a deposit.

- DEPOSITS - ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND GO TOWARDS THE OVERALL COST OF THE TATTOO! IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR ARTIST WITH 48 HOURS NOTICE PRIOR TO CANCELING YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOU FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT. IF 48 HOURS NOTICE HAS BEEN GIVEN, WE WILL HONOR YOUR DEPOSIT AND RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR A NEW APPOINTMENT DATE AND TIME AND THE DEPOSIT WILL BE USED TO SECURE THE NEW APPOINTMENT DATE. IF 48 HOURS NOTICE WAS NOT GIVEN, YOU WILL NEED TO PLACE A NEW DEPOSIT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET TATTOOED.

- DEPOSIT PRICING WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE ARTIST YOU WORK WITH. BUT MOST ARTISTS HAVE A $50 DEPOSIT FOR SMALL TATTOOS. A $250 DEPOSIT FOR HALF DAY SESSIONS AND A $500 DEPOSIT FOR FULL DAY SESSIONS.

Age

- If you are a minor between the ages of 14 - 18 years old, Humble Bee Studios will allow you to receive services from one of our Artists with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian who has signed our written consent form MUST be present at time of service and is required by law to remain present until services have been completed. Both the parent or legal guardian AND the minor wishing to receive services from Humble Bee Studios MUST provide valid STATE or GOVERNMENT issued I.D. for ALL SERVICES at time of service.

- If you are 18 years of age and older you MUST provide a valid STATE or GOVERNMENT issued I.D. for ALL SERVICES at time of service.
 

Deposit

- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. You will forfeit your deposit if you do not follow the policies below. If you violate the deposit policies, you will need to come in and pay another deposit to make or keep any future appointments.

- Late Policy - If you are more than 30 minutes late without calling ahead of time, you will be considered a “no-call no-show” and will lose your appointment and your deposit.

- We accept all major Credit/Debit cards, Venmo, PayPal & Cash.

- A 2.0% surcharge will be added to all Card transactions.

Cancelation Policy

- If you are needing to reschedule your appointment and do not give us a MINIMUM of ONE weeks’ notice prior to cancelation in order to reschedule your appointment, you will forfeit your appointment and FULL deposit. Your Artists’ time is very limited and valuable, please respect this by allowing him/her enough time to fill your spot, as 24-48 hrs is not enough time to fill the cancelation.

- Canceling your consultation will result in your Artist postponing your First session to a later date in order to complete your consultation at least ONE week prior to your appointment, therefore allowing your Artist enough time to complete your design.

- Canceling TWO appointments in a row (regardless of giving a one week notice) will result in the immediate loss of your deposit and all scheduled future appointments will be erased from the appointment book and offered to other clients without notice. A new deposit and appointment date(s) will be required in order to schedule with your Artist again.

- You must make real contact with your Artist or a staff member at Humble Bee Studios in order to cancel an appointment or consultation. This means you must speak directly with your Artist or their Assistant via phone, email, face to face, etc. The studio voice mail is only checked a few times per week, so please do not cancel via voicemail as you could risk losing your deposit. It is your responsibility to make contact with us and to confirm any and all cancelation(s)/rescheduled appointments with Humble Bee Studios and its employees.
 

Designs/artwork

- The design/artwork created for each individual client is considered property of the Artist.

- If you are dissatisfied with the design, we will work with you to make any and all necessary adjustments to the design to your satisfaction. We will not do any design approval via text message or email. we will never tattoo a design on anyone that they are not 100% sure they love and want tattooed on their body!

- If you take a design to another studio without paying your Artist for the design, this is considered property theft and will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

studio Rules

-CHILDREN are NOT ALLOWED in our Studio for any reason. If you have an appointment scheduled, make sure you arrange childcare ahead of time.

-Please do NOT take pictures of the artwork in our portfolios.

-Spectators may take photos or video ONLY with both the artist's and the client's permission.

-Feel free to bring in pictures for reference or inspiration, however here at Humble Bee Studios, we do not duplicate/copy other artists’/ Clients’ tattoos or other Artists’ designs/artwork. we make sure every tattoo is one of a kind and an original piece of art.

-NO pets are allowed in the Studio.

-We will NOT perform any services on persons we suspect of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

- We are NOT responsible for any damages caused by failure to comply with aftercare instructions or by neglect or engaging in activities causing damage to the tattoo.

Aftercare

- Clients will be sent home with an aftercare form that will explain our aftercare process. additional saniderm can be purchased in studio upon request.

Service

- We reserve the Right to Refuse Service to ANYONE. Failure to adhere to our Policies will result in the refusal of any and all services provided by our Artists & Humble Bee Studios.
